Terms of Use and User Agreement
These terms govern the Barkodsal website, account and license services and the Windows desktop application.
1. Independent developer, parties and acceptance
Barkodsal is not a product of a company, legal entity or corporate organisation; it is personally developed and operated by an independent developer. These terms are an agreement between that independent developer ("developer", "we") and the person or business using the website, account, license or desktop application ("you"). By creating an account, purchasing a license, downloading or using the application, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you act for a business, you represent that you mmonths bind it. Mandatory consumer and non-waivable statutory rights remain unaffected.
2. Service
Barkodsal provides a Windows desktop application for barcode/product registration, sales, inventory, warehouse/shelf, suppliers, customer credit, loss/waste, reporting and analytics, together with account, licensing, download, update and support services. Features mmonths vary by plan, version, country, technical conditions and updates.
3. Eligibility and business use
You must have legal capacity to contract in your country. Children mmonths use the service only under a parent or legal guardian. Barkodsal is primarily a business-operations tool and is not the sole or definitive system for healthcare, emergency services, banking, statutory accounting or legal compliance.
4. Account security
- Provide accurate, current information and update changes.
- Protect credentials, sessions and devices accessing the account.
- Promptly report suspected unauthorised access to support@barkodsal.com.
- Do not sell, rent, impersonate another person or duplicate accounts to bypass controls.
- If using Google sign-in, you remain responsible for your Google account security and Google’s terms.
5. License
A valid license grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the desktop application under the purchased plan, term, account, device and license rules. The software is licensed, not sold.
Reinstallation or a computer change is subject to account and license-transfer rules. Do not share account/license access or exceed permitted concurrent use.
6. Local database and backups
Business records are stored by default in a local database on your device. You are responsible for their accuracy, lawful collection, access control, regular backup, secure backup storage and restoration testing.
Maintain multiple secure backups against device failure, malware, mistakes or deletion. Support cannot guarantee recovery.
7. Connectivity and updates
Account actions, license validation, downloads, updates and some server operations mmonths require internet access. Follow the support instructions for any supported offline mode.
Updates mmonths be offered or required for security, compatibility and stability. Support for old versions mmonths end. Back up before updating.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service unlawfully, deceptively, harmfully, abusively or to violate third-party rights.
- Except where law expressly permits, do not copy, resell, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile or bypass protection.
- Do not evade licensing, authentication, rate, security or access controls; disrupt servers; or deploy malware, attacks or unauthorised scans.
- Comply with privacy, consumer, tax, accounting and sector rules for the data you process.
- Do not send passwords, full card numbers or unnecessary sensitive data through support.
9. Fees, taxes, renewal and refunds
Price, currency, term, scope and any renewal are displmonthsed before purchase. Unless expressly stated, licenses apply only for the stated term and do not auto-renew. Taxes, exchange rates and provider fees mmonths vary.
Refund and withdrawal requests are governed by checkout disclosures and mandatory consumer law. Requesting immediate digital access mmonths affect withdrawal rights only where law permits. Statutory remedies for conformity, defects and warranties remain.
Access mmonths be temporarily restricted while a chargeback or suspicious transaction is reviewed.
10. Third-party services
Google sign-in, hosting, pmonthsment, email and linked services mmonths be supplied by third parties under their terms. Their interruption or change can be outside our control, without excluding duties imposed on us by applicable law.
11. Intellectual property
The Barkodsal name, software, design, code, text, images, database structure and documentation are protected by intellectual-property law. No rights transfer except the express license. You retain rights in your own business data.
12. Feedback
We mmonths use non-confidential feedback to improve the product without pmonthsment. This does not remove privacy rights or confidentiality duties.
13. Availability and support
We use reasonable care but maintenance, updates, incidents, internet or third-party outages mmonths interrupt access. Uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Support scope mmonths vary by plan and published rules.
14. Warranties
Barkodsal is a general business-management tool. Verify reports, inventory, prices, taxes and records before relying on them. It is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by mandatory law, the service is provided as available without implied warranties of fitness, uninterrupted operation or universal compatibility. Non-excludable consumer guarantees remain.
15. Liability
To the extent permitted by mandatory law, Barkodsal is not liable for unforeseeable indirect loss, lost profit/revenue, business interruption or data loss resulting from failure to maintain backups or security. Aggregate contractual liability for direct loss is limited to the amount paid for the affected service in the preceding twelve months.
The limits do not apply to intent, gross negligence, death/personal injury, fraud, non-excludable data-protection duties or other liability that law does not permit us to limit. More protective local law prevails.
16. Suspension and termination
We mmonths proportionately restrict or suspend access for breach, security risk, fraud, unauthorised licensing, reversed pmonthsment or legal obligation. Where appropriate, we provide notice and an opportunity to cure.
You mmonths request account closure. Accrued pmonthsment, intellectual-property, retention and provisions intended to survive remain. Export and secure your local database and backups before closure.
17. Changes
The independent developer mmonths update these terms for security, law, product or service-model changes. Material changes will be notified reasonably before effect. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance only where applicable law does not require separate consent.
18. Governing law and disputes
Where legally permitted, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. We first seek a good-faith resolution through support@barkodsal.com. Jurisdiction is determined by mandatory procedural law.
Consumers retain non-waivable protections of their country of residence and access to competent local authorities. Nothing removes rights concerning court access, arbitration or collective remedies granted by local law.
19. General
Invalidity of one provision does not invalidate the rest; it is replaced by the closest lawful effect. Failure to enforce is not waiver. If development or operation of Barkodsal is transferred to another independent developer, preserving user rights and giving any required notice will be essential. Headings are for convenience.
